Dating back to the 16th
century the pub is a very pretty building, steeped in history and
surrounded by beautiful
West Berkshire
countryside.
We pride ourselves on being very much a
Local Pub with a restaurant that offers an honest menu focusing on high
quality locally-sourced ingredients, cooked with passion and care and
served at a reasonable price. Everything at The White Hart is made from
scratch, from delicious desserts to the stocks and sauces.
Look
to the specials board for constantly changing dishes such as Piri Piri
Pork Steak with Sweet Potato Mash and a Mango & Coriander Salsa, Roasted
Monkfish wrapped in Parma Ham on a bed of Chorizo Risotto and Minted
Lamb Steak with Red Wine Jus served with Dauphinoise Potatoes.
Value for money is vital to us so all dishes
include vegetables in the price and we offer delicious complementary
granary bread and butter to all.
